THE FINAL DAY KEPT US WAITING

The three-way tie at the top with Johnson Poh (SIN), WooJin Jung (KOR) and Peter Karmis (SA) kept the challenge going through the first nine with each of the players showing their ability. Close enough to keep us guessing as to whether there would be a play-off. The back nine told a slightly different story and it turned out there was no need for any more as Johnson Poh maintained his momentum and ended with a stylish 68 to give a total of 8 under par over the four rounds and the title of OneAsia Q School Champion for 2018. Second place went to WooJin Jung on 4 under and third to Peter Karmis on 1 under for the tournament. The Koreans continued their strong showing with 2 in the top 5 and 5 in the top 10.

The Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Golf & Country Club hosted a celebratory lunch for all the players after the prize giving and OneAsia wish to offer their sincere thanks and appreciation of the professionalism and support that was shown by all members of their team; from the management to the caddies throughout the tournament

The players returned to the partner hotel, The Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam, and will be returning to their homes tomorrow. The players have all achieved a category status in the OneAsia Tour for the rest of this season with the category placings based on:
