The OneAsia™ Tour is very proud to announce the inaugural tournament in its 2019/2020 season – The Langkawi Masters, Kedah. Organised and sanctioned by the OneAsia™ Tour together with the PGA of Malaysia, this will be an annual event with a contract running up to 2023.
The venue for 2019 is The Els Club, Teluk Datai, Langkawi and the prize fund for this tournament is US $1 Million, a first for the State of Kedah Darul Atman. Nestled between primeval rainforest and the emerald green of the Andaman Sea, the award-wOneAsia™ inning,18-hole, par-72 championship golf course at the Els Club Teluk Datai, designed by legendary player Ernie Els, provides a grand game experience in one of the world’s most spectacular settings.
Langkawi holds many great reasons to be the selected venue for this event, not least, the championship quality of the golf course at The Els Club and together with Menteri Besar Kedah Incorporated and the State of Kedah Darul Aman we at the OneAsia™ Tour believe this partnership will bring many benefits, not only to Langkawi but also to the State and not only in terms of tourism promotions but also as an investor relations tool.

On the player side, OneAsia™ is pleased to announce that the qualifying places for entry into the tournament have been advised to all eligible players and most important, and a first for any international tournament in Malaysia, is that a guaranteed forty (40) Malaysian players will get the chance to play, which will also be the case for any other OneAsia™ tournament in Malaysia.
OneAsia™ is also very happy to announce that it has already secured tournament opportunities up to the end of the current season, March 2020.

This is to ensure that these tournaments are held closer to the above dates to make it easier for our members to plan their travels and be more cost effective.
